Grant Eligibility
- Applicants must be nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) U.S. organizations or units of state or local government such as schools & parks.
- Evidence of nonprofit tax status, government status, or the IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter must accompany all applications.
- Project must benefit the community of Door County with an emphasis in Education, History & Recreation.
Funding Guidelines
- We seek to be a 'funding partner' but not fund 100% of the cost. Your organization must have allocated/confirmed funding for the project.
- We do not fund general operational expenses, debt retirement, loans, endowments, annual appeals, sponsorships or fundraising efforts.
- We do not fund projects for organizations whose policies or practices discriminate on the basis of ethnic origin, gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation.

- Write your grant application in advance of your project.
- We do not reimburse for pre-purchased items so do not order supplies prior to your grant approval.
